Account information
When you create an account, we collect:

- Profile picture (when you sign up via Google);
- Password (stored encrypted via bcrypt — never in plain text).
Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified (highest industry standard).
Technical data
To operate and protect the service, we collect:
- IP address (for region detection and abuse prevention);
- Browser User-Agent;
- Tool usage logs (type, file size, status).
Uploaded files
The files you upload are temporarily processed on our servers and automatically deleted shortly after the operation is completed (typically within a few minutes). We do not analyze, index or share the content of your files.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide, operate and maintain the services;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Send transactional notifications (confirmations, password reset);
- Detect, prevent and investigate fraudulent or abusive use;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
3. Sharing with Third Parties
We only share data with essential providers:
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Google — OAuth authentication (if you opt in);
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) — always under confidentiality agreements.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and localStorage to:
- Keep you authenticated after login;
- Remember language and currency preferences;
- Display relevant ads (Google AdSense — free plan users).
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect features like staying logged in.
5. Advertising

6. Data Retention
- Uploaded files: automatically deleted after processing (minutes);
- Operation history: kept to display in your panel while your account is active;
- Account data: kept as long as the account exists;
- Payment data: as required by tax law (typically 5 years).
7. Your Rights (LGPD/GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct incorrect or outdated data;
- Request deletion of your account and data;
- Export your data in a readable format;
- Revoke consent at any time;
- File a complaint with ANPD (Brazil) or the applicable data protection authority.

8. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS);
- Passwords stored with bcrypt hashing;
- Restricted access to internal data;
- Continuous security monitoring.
Despite our efforts, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In case of a security incident affecting your data, you will be notified in accordance with LGPD.
9. Children
BlipFiles is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we identify such data, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice on the site.
